A brand new business model

In fast-moving times such as these, business requires spontaneity and the courage to try something new. Change and flexibility are a part of everyday life. While this applies to everybody, it is particularly important for the business world. 

As a hotel interior design and furnishing expert (Kofler Projekt-Austria GmbH), company founder Hansjörg Kofler is familiar with all of the challenges with which hotel operators are faced: particularly the financial "squeeze" when it comes to refurbishing and revamping. After discussions with car rental companies, Kofler was inspired by the prospects of the rental idea as an alternative to traditional financing concepts in the hotel industry.

In 2002 Hansjörg Kofler established Furni Rent. After developing the initial concept and carrying out some test projects, the Furni Rent use-and-rent model was introduced to the market at the end of 2003.

The result: a completely new financing concept for the hotel industry.

This concept offers family-owned hotels or accommodation providers brand new perspectives to improve the quality and comfort of hotel rooms.

In 2004, the system was first applied in customers' hotels. 2006 saw the delivery of the first complete system (everything from bedrooms, to the reception and restaurant), and in 2007 we opened our showroom in Villach and delivered our first project in Norway.

Each year, we gain more and more satisfied customers.

Customers are currently taking advantage of the quality of over 7800 rooms designed and furnished. This great success would not have been possible without cooperation partners and our highly motivated Furni Rent team.
